Analysis: The Sun Devils’ rankings are all over the board, with a high of #29 and a low of #99. As such, it’s hard to tell what their scheduling tendencies are. From 2002-2005 they played two BCS teams and one non-BCS team per season, but since then they’ve switched that around. So the direction they’re heading is one average to above-average BCS team, and two average to below average non-BCS or I-AA teams.
